Anticorrosive centrifugal fans are widely used in ventilation, dust removal and cooling of factories, mines, tunnels, cooling towers, vehicles, ships and buildings. Ventilation and induced draft fans of boilers and industrial furnaces; cooling and ventilation of air-conditioning equipment and household appliances; drying and selecting grain; air source in wind tunnels, inflation and propulsion of hovercraft, etc.
There are many ways to adjust the air volume of centrifugal fans, such as inlet and outlet air valves, volute air valves, inlet blades, moving wings, and speed adjustment. For different types of fans, due to the different adjustment methods, the energy-saving effects are also very different.
(1) Adjustment of air valve
The adjustment of the outlet air valve of the anticorrosive centrifugal fan is to change the characteristics of the pipe network, not the fan. The adjustment range of air volume is usually all working conditions below the rated performance curve of the fan. Due to the artificial increase in the resistance of the pipe network to change the characteristics of the pipe network, the pressure drop is consumed on the additional resistance generated by the air valve when the air valve is closed, and the adjustment economy is poor. Inlet valve adjustment, when the pipe is arranged on the suction side of the fan, the adjustment principle is the same as that of the outlet valve; but when the pipe is arranged on the exhaust side of the fan, the performance curve of the fan is changed by changing the inlet pressure of the fan, so the adjustment is more economical; The adjustment of the shell air valve changes the characteristics of the fan by changing the outlet area of the fan. Compared with reducing the air volume, the power change is small, and the energy saving effect is not significant. In principle, these two adjustments can be used under all working conditions under the rated curve, and can shift the surge point to the direction of small flow, so they are widely used in fixed speed fans.
(2) Adjustment of inlet blades
Inlet blade adjustment is to change the direction of air flow sucked into the impeller by adjusting the blades, and change the performance curve of the fan. The forward winding adjustment of the inlet airflow of the fan can realize all the working conditions below the performance curve when the angle of the inlet guide vane is zero; the negative swirl adjustment of the inlet airflow can increase the pressure and flow of the fan, but the adjustment range is limited. Imported blades have a wide adjustment range, high economy, and can realize automatic adjustment, so they are widely used by fans.
